Merry Christmas

“Merry Christmas” is a set of coloring sheets (B&W & Color) designed in Adobe Illustrator. Vector art, Size: 17″ x 11″

The focal point of the page is the large snow globe with a Christmas tree on snow fields inside. I used colors typically associated with the holiday and a popular wintery theme. The font I used has a star to dot the eye and decorative elements which reinforce the holiday visual I was aiming to achieve. The page’s border is a pattern brush made from snowflakes, which also reinforces the wintery theme.

I started with an intended audience of one: me. This has been a rough year for me, and I could use some joy, so I thought about some of the things that bring me the most joy and Christmas tops the list. Beyond myself, the audience for this piece is broad and inclusive of anyone who celebrates or enjoys Christmas, regardless of age.
