Grandma’s Garden

If you’ve ever met someone who had a magical touch with plants, then you’ve met someone like my mother-in-law. Her garden was nothing short of a masterpiece, a living canvas that transformed with the seasons. It seemed as though she could get growth out of even the most stubborn seeds. Every corner of her yard felt like it had a story to tell, if only you would pause to listen. One year, I decided to do just that and created this series of photographs to try to capture the essence of her incredible talent and the love she poured into it.
